About us

Edy and Bridge pieces are designed, cut and handmade in our Nunhead Shop, South London. Each item is individually crafted and we source most of our fabrics from reclaimable stock. This makes each design a limited edition.
Our aim is to create beautiful pieces that become staple favourites in your wardrobe for many seasons to come.

A little bit more about us…

We are a team of two designer makers.

We make the clothes and textiles we want to wear, made thoughtfully, with reclaimable fabrics in small batches. We aim to be as sustainable as possible, we are ever evolving and learning new ways to be better all the time. We enjoy designing and making our clothing and hope to send out these good vibes to you when you wear them.

Michael grew up in London town, and I (Jenni) grew up on a farm in the Devonshire countryside. We both studied in London, Michael at London College of fashion, and myself at Goldsmiths University.

We met at London’s famous Spitalfield's Market where we were both designing and making and selling our own designs. We moved into a shared studio space in South London and began to collaborate. We realized our eclectic mix of urban and rural influences together with a love for vintage style, brought a refreshing freedom to our designs.

Edy and Bridge was established in 2013. Our intention ‘To make classic, strong everyday pieces that would be made in The Uk and that would become a staple favourite in our customers wardrobes for many seasons to come.’

We named our brand after two amazing women in our lives, Our Grandmas and we set to work!

We set out to use reclaimable fabrics as much as possible. (Reclaimable fabrics are fabrics discarded by manufacturers of other fashion companies also known as dead stock fabrics) We also wanted to up-cycle and to be mindful of how everything is made.

Almost everything we design is made by us in our shop in Nunhead.. Our designs are unique, well made and individual and often limited in numbers. We create the patterns in paper through to the finished garments.

We sell through our website and in pop up shops and events around the Uk
